Travelers are forced to deal with these undesirable conditions all while the price of membership has increased over the years. For many years club lounges represented luxury and the price of membership ensured they would not ever have so many member that you would not be able to tell the difference from regular terminal waiting areas to those of the club. These use to be places to escape the busy terminal traffic and relax in comfort and peace knowing they would be less congested of people and would offer more amenities that seating next to the gates.
